AFG Vs IND: When And Where To Watch 1st T20I, Know All Details

By Pramit Meher

**AFG vs IND, 1st T20I: Match Preview & Watch Details** India kick off their 3-match T20I series against Afghanistan on **Sunday, Sep 13 (7:30 PM IST)** at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. Both squads are using this series to fine-tune for the **2026 Asian Games** in Aichi-Nagoya, so expect serious combination tinkering. **India's Edge:** Historically strong here — India have won **8 of 9** meetings (1 NR). Coming off an inconsistent T20 cycle with losses to Ireland and England, the boys want to reset and build momentum. Squad blends experience (Bumrah, Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma) with fresh talent — watch out for **15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi**, who made his debut vs England. **Afghanistan's Threat:** Ibrahim Zadran captaining a handy lineup with matchwinners Rashid Khan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mohammad Nabi. Not a pushover despite the head-to-head. **Watch:** TV on Sony Sports Ten 3/4/5 (SD & HD). Stream on FanCode app/site. Note: The source headline mentioned "Harare" and Zimbabwe, but the actual venue and content point clearly to New Delhi vs Afghanistan — that's a copy-paste error in the original, so I've gone with the match details that actually align.
