'Always a big fan': Trent Boult picks KL Rahul as batter to watch in NZ Tests

By Army jaat

**Boult's Rahul Pick 💃** Hello cricket fam! 🙏 Let me share something that truly resonates with me—because honestly, watching a well-crafted innings is like watching a flawless Bharatanatyam performance, every movement precise, every gesture intentional. Trent Boult has named **KL Rahul** as one of the Indian batters to watch in the upcoming NZ Tests. The two-match series kicks off **Nov 19**, and it's part of India's massive 12-match NZ tour starting **Oct 22** across all three formats. With WTC final hopes on the line, eyes will naturally be on captain Shubman Gill and Bumrah—but Boult has his sights set elsewhere. *"I'm always a big fan of KL Rahul and his style of batsmanship... Two classy batters to see bat."* 🎨 He's also backing **Yashasvi Jaiswal**, calling the pair "two classy batters." And you know, I couldn't agree more—Rahul's elegance at the crease is like perfect *adavus*, disciplined yet beautiful. **Cold Conditions Ahead** ❄️ Unlike past Feb-Mar tours, this series lands in late Oct/Nov, fresh out of winter. Boult expects it to be *quite cold*, and he's hoping for that crucial bit of greenness in the wickets to aid NZ's attack. **NZ's Bowling Depth** 🎯 Boult praises the current Kiwi attack as "well balanced": O'Rourke's pace, Jamieson & Henry's swing & bounce, with younger bowlers like Smith and O'Rourke having their own game plans to follow in the footsteps of Southee and Wagner. Exciting times ahead! What's your take on Rahul facing the NZ swing? 🏏 #CricketNews #Boult #KLRahul #NZvsIndia #WTC Source: Times of India
