**Dehradun T20 League 2026: Vikasnagar Dhamaka Cruise Past Selakui Strikers by 8 Wickets** *Abhimanyu Cricket Academy Ground, Dehradun — Monday* A clinical chase set the tone for Vikasnagar Dhamaka's commanding 8-wicket win over Selakui Strikers in a rain-curtailed seven-over clash on Monday. **Toss & Bowling First** After winning the toss, skipper Vishal Kashyap chose to bowl first — and it paid off immediately. Their bowlers kept Selakui restrained throughout, never allowing the batters to free their arms. Vinay Aswal was the standout, taking 2/16 in his two overs, while Goldie Malik picked up 1 wicket for 15 in his solitary over. **Selakui's Resistance** Selakui started cautiously before ramping up the tempo in the middle overs, finishing on a modest 68/3 in their seven overs. Nitish Joshi led the attack with a fiery 35 off just 13 balls — three fours and three sixes — while Sanskar Rawat added a quick 14 off 12. Kunal Chandela chipped in with 13 off 8 to help them cross the line. **Kashyap's Explosive Finish** Chasing a modest 69, Vikasnagar's batsmen were ruthless. Captain Vishal Kashyap starred with a sensational unbeaten 53 off only 20 balls — a blistering strike rate — as they chased down the target in just 5.3 overs. Reaching 74/2 in the process, they sealed an emphatic, comfortable victory. A masterclass in discipline with the ball and aggression with the bat — exactly the kind of performance we expect from well-prepared teams. *Source: IANS* Source: Cricketnmore
